Because it is sometimes difficult to find people to play on vassal with, i was wondering if we should have a vassal night. say every friday or saturday night at 9 or 10pm. Just come on the site, to the chat room page and get a game started with someone. what do you all think?

That sounds like a good idea.  Being as those are the two days of the week I have off  and i'm more likely to pop in a play a game or two while I'm there.

so it doesnt look like there are that many sigs here, and this thread is a month old so i know this never happened. but i have to wonder why, this is a great idea. if everybody could just put when they are most availible on weekends the admin could tally it up and make up some times we could consider those times vassal community time. whether its one or maybe a few........... u.s comm time, euro comm time, what ever but all that needs to be done is

This thread is just a tiny snowball gaining momentum  and I'm another flake.

Seems like I'm on vassal all the time , but mainly it's Monday and Wednesday evenings (where I'm at anyway: GMT -6 hours), and Saturday mornings.

But, whenever I've got a free moment or two, I pop on.  Feel free to pm or email me and I'll see if I can log on.

I'd be up for a Vassal night. I'm based in the UK so GMT at the moment but changes to GMT+1 in the summer to keep the farmers happy! Also interested in getting to know some players who are interested in timetabling some games as there never seems to be anyone just hanging about on Vassal looking for a game except me!
