Congratulations to Bilben and jsharp on their advancement to the tournament finals. Hopefully they can email me the match time so I can get it posted, that way for those that wish they can watch the match live, instead of replaying the logfiles.

Has this match been played yet?  If not I would like to be an "observer"

The match between Bilben and myself is scheduled for 2 PM U.S. Eastern today, Sunday.  Sorry for the short notice of when the match is scheduled to occur, hopefully it will be a good one for any spectators.

It was fun to watch - now we have a shared pain, jsharp  Good games to watch, congratulations, Bilben!

I also want to thank everyone for participating. Thouggh I was out early, first day possible in fact, i enjoyed putting this thing together. Congrats Bilben. the logfiles and results are posted on the site.

Is a consolation bracket possible for the next one?  I usually don't have problems finding a pick-up game of BL on vassal, but I certainly appreciate having scheduled games My main attraction to the tournaments is getting to play and meet new people - I was fortunate this time around and able to get in a few games, but think I've some karmic payback due from some of the situations I wriggled out of

looking into the proverbial crystal ball i think it's highly probable that there will be a consolation bracket.

Any indication from said crystal ball as to when the next round of registration is to begin?

And if you're looking for some volunteers for any assistance, that is my hand waving
