I fought the famous Toddrew just now, and survived.  We played map 7 CRISIS IN AVIGNON.  The first match was a series of failed attacks on both sides.  I used a foot onslaught retreat and regroup at one point.  My endless stream of "hold" "web" and "scatter cards" helped foil Toddrew's best laid plans.  In the end it ended 5 units to 3 in my favour. (though Toddrew killed 25 figures to 23)

I was player 1 this time and charged hard and long on the right side of the map.  The dice rolled in my favour, and I carved a quicker win, 5:1 units.

Yeah, that first game, when I sent in the ill-fated cav charge on the right side of the board, I thought it a little risky, but, couldn't possibly have another hold/web/scatter/evade, and not only did you, but with a deja vu as well

And the second game, well, that one was just a pasting, I didn't have much to respond with to the concerted attack on the left side and what little I could muster got no cooperation from the dice.  O, and another magic web that foiled half of a mounted charge   heehee

Both fun games though, and I wish you luck.  Besides you spared me from Bilben
